Ж is an ice composer, vocalist, performer and innovative sound artist.

After discovering GarageBand and playing around with digital sound creation at the age of seventeen, Ж created a seven hour opera and designed a new style of music which they later named strange-tundra. Strange-tundra tells extraterrestrial stories on frozen exoplanets using the sounds of wind, ice and tundra ambience. 

A self-taught vocalist, pianist, and sound engineer, Ж has written and released over 14 albums personally. Ж performs their music at live shows in and around the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City. Their music shows are laid out in the style of dance meditations called ecstatic dances and sound meditations called soundbaths.

Ж has performed at private and public venues all over San Francisco including the Continental Club in Oakland, The Convent Art House, Lightcell Energy Labs, The Bottom of the Hill, Uzay Gallery, The Center SF, Monument SF, The Embassy House, other private residences and more. Xxhe has also performed at select venues in NYC including The Living Gallery and Wonderville. 

Ж designed, directed, managed and hosted the live show adaptation of their original ice opera entitled "R`ovsces". The show went live in San Francisco and Oakland early 2024 with 200 attendees to open the first show. 

Ж has, written, scored, directed and overseen several original shortfilms including "You Saved Me From Not Changing" (2024), a collaborative forest-immersive alien story shot by their long-time collaborator Brian Arnold from FilmLifeFilms.  Xxhe is currently in preproduction for a feature length dream-heavy, scifi adaptation of R`ovsces rei, the ice opera.

Why Ж creates.

Ж creates because at all moments, it is as if reality is loudly asking them to. The act of doing so is visceral, vibranting and the first fire of causer to flow thier veins. 

And finally, without an ounce of lightheartedness, Ж creates because it is Ж's purpose to do so and to never stop.
